The vineyard slopes in autumn

Domaine Guillot-Gonin

Our estate

Domaine Guillot-Gonin

Grower-producer · Saint-Joseph · 69910 Villié-Morgon

Descended from two long-established Beaujolais winegrowing families who have farmed their land since the early 19th century, five generations have succeeded one another on the estate since 1805, each making its own contribution.

  1. Dry-stone vineyard hut

    The 1950s

It was in the 1950s that the first bottles were sold in Lyon, driven by Corinne’s grandfathers, Benoît Ravier and Jean-François Gonin, and by Jean-Philippe’s grandfather, Alphonse Desclas.

They were among the first winegrowers to deliver their bottles directly to Lyon’s bistros and bouchons.

  2. Oak barrels in the estate’s cellar

    Today

Today, the estate covers 35 hectares across several Beaujolais crus, where every step of winemaking, from tending the vines to vinification and bottling, passes through their hands.

An estate born from the passion of two strong-willed winegrowers! Complementary, they combine their different styles to offer you the very best.

  3. Corinne Guillot Gonin and Jean-Philippe Guillot in their vineyard

Corinne Guillot Gonin and Jean-Philippe Guillot practise reasoned farming across their 35 ha.

From the vine to your table, each has a role in the adventure: Corinne in complete harmony with nature, and Jean-Philippe thriving on human connection.
