Authenticity, terroirs, traditions

We, the winegrowers

The winegrower’s reward also lies in selling the wine, and therefore in the recognition of a job well done.

Corinne Guillot Gonin in the vineyard

Corinne Guillot Gonin

At the head of the family estate since 2001, my only aim is to let nature express itself through my wines.

I make terroir wines from grapes harvested by hand at full ripeness.

Jean-Philippe Guillot in the vineyard

Jean-Philippe Guillot

A winegrower at heart for thirty years, I relish every vintage.

With the complexity of a climate that changes from one year to the next, I have to adapt to the whims of nature, which, if we respect it, always gives us the chance to bring an authentic wine to life; I am merely a messenger of the terroir.

Every season

A job that requires being there all year round.

  1. Old bush-trained Gamay vine

    The winter season

The winter season, when pruning, the most difficult and most important task of all, sets the course for the next harvest.

  2. Vine leaf in spring

    In spring

Once the frost has been avoided, we get busy tying up and trellising our vines; treatments are applied in a reasoned way and weeding is done only with post-emergence products.

  3. Vineyard hut among the vines under a blue summer sky

    Fine weather: summer

Summer, the season when the grapes ripen.

  4. The golden vineyard at the end of summer, facing Mont Brouilly

    Late summer

Late summer and early autumn: the storms had the good grace not to bring hail, so the harvest promises to be excellent.

  5. Harvest basket and bottle in the vineyard

    The harvest

We need workers who are hard-working and conscientious…

  6. Red wine poured into a glass against the rising sun

    Tasting

    Pleasure shared…
