Tasting notes

Dark garnet colour with deep ruby tones. A complex, spicy nose with scents of faded rose and iris. Fleshy on the palate, with fine tannins and persistent aromas of spice and black fruit, sometimes very ripe wild strawberry and a mineral touch.

Food pairing

Red meat, game, meats in sauce (beef bourguignon, coq au vin), soft cheeses (Munster, Époisses, Camembert…).
